1. Definitions & Eligibility
“Customer”, “you”, or “your” means the person or entity purchasing products/services or using the website. You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province/territory and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company.
2. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with the security or functionality of the website.
- Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the website or our systems.
- Use the website to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content.
We may suspend or terminate access, without notice, for violations of these Terms.
3. Products and Services
PRK Doors has been manufacturing and supplying premium windows and doors for over 25 years. We offer:
- Steel and fiberglass entry doors
- Energy-efficient vinyl windows
- Fire-rated doors
- Custom glass sidelites, transoms, and decorative designs
- Residential and commercial solutions
- Custom sizing and made-to-order options
- Professional installation services
While we strive for accuracy, all product descriptions, pricing, images, and availability are subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee that all information is error-free.
4. Quotes, Pricing & Errors
- Quote validity. Unless otherwise stated, quotes are typically valid for 30 days from the issue date.
- Currency & surcharges. Prices are in Canadian dollars and may exclude taxes, shipping, delivery, disposal, after-hours/rush service, or fuel surcharges.
- Right to correct errors. We reserve the right to correct typographical or arithmetic errors in quotes, invoices, or web listings. If a correction materially affects your order, you may cancel for a refund of amounts paid on the affected item(s).
5. Orders, Deposits & Payment
Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by PRK Doors. We may decline or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in product information or pricing.
Deposits & Title
- Custom or made-to-order products require a non-refundable deposit as stated on your quote/invoice once production is authorized.
- Title to products remains with PRK Doors until paid in full. Risk of loss transfers as described in Section 6.
Payment Terms
- B2B: Payment terms are defined in your account agreement or invoice. Deposits or credit checks may be required.
- B2C: Full payment or a deposit is typically required at order or prior to scheduling delivery/installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late charges. Overdue balances may accrue interest up to 2% per month (24% per annum) or the maximum permitted by law.
- Chargebacks. You agree to first allow us to address any dispute. Unwarranted chargebacks may be treated as a breach; related fees may be charged back to you.
Financing
If you arrange financing or credit through PRK Doors or a third-party provider, additional terms apply per your financing agreement.
6. Shipping, Delivery & Installation
Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays.
Installation Services
When you purchase installation, you agree to:
- Provide clear and safe access to the installation site.
- Ensure required permits/approvals are in place unless otherwise agreed.
- Allow our team to perform work during agreed hours.
Risk of loss & title. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the site (or pickup); after installation, you are responsible for maintenance and care.
7. Measurements, Approvals & Changes
- Responsibility for sizes. If you supply measurements, you are responsible for accuracy. If we measure, our scope is limited to the listed openings and conditions at the time of measure.
- Sign-off. Drawings/options may require your written approval. Production begins only after sign-off.
- Color/finish variance. Natural and manufactured finishes may vary between samples and production.
- Change orders. Changes after sign-off may affect pricing and lead times and may require a new deposit.
8. Scheduling, Site Readiness & Access
- Rescheduling requests should be made at least 2 business days in advance.
- Missed appointments or inaccessible sites may incur a reasonable call-out fee.
- If your order is ready but the site is not, storage or re-delivery fees may apply.
- You are responsible for securing pets, providing parking/power, and protecting furnishings near the work area.
9. Inspection on Delivery & Damage Claims
- Inspect products at delivery/installation. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt where possible.
- Report concealed damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details; allow us to inspect.
- Our remedies may include repair, replacement, or supplying parts within a reasonable time.
10. Returns & Cancellations
Custom Orders
Custom and made-to-order products (non-standard sizes, special glass, custom finishes) cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun.
Standard Products
Eligible stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. A restocking fee and freight charges may apply.
How to Request a Return

- Returns must be pre-authorized; ship prepaid and insured; include the Return Material Authorization (RMA) number on the shipping label/package.
11. Warranties & Disclaimers
Manufacturer warranties on doors, windows, sealed glass units and hardware apply as provided by the manufacturer. Installation workmanship warranties (if applicable) are described on your invoice/service agreement.
Disclaimer of warranties. Except as expressly stated in writing, all products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRK Doors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits or revenue) arising from your use of the website, products, or services. In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
13. Third-Party Services & Subcontractors
We may use qualified subcontractors to deliver products or perform installation. We may also refer or connect you with third-party finance providers. Third-party services are subject to their own terms; PRK Doors is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including images, designs, logos, and text—is the property of PRK Doors or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
15. Privacy & Cookies
Your use of our website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. This website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience and analyse traffic. Learn more at Consumer Protection Ontario.
16. Electronic Communications & E-Signatures
You consent to receive contracts, invoices, approvals, and notices electronically (email/SMS/portal). Electronic signatures, check-boxes, and typed names are deemed “in writing” and have the same effect as hand-signed originals.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PRK Doors, its directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the products/services; (c) site conditions or instructions supplied by you; or (d) your violation of law or third-party rights.
18. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemics, labour disputes, supplier failures, transportation interruptions, power outages, or government actions.
19. Severability, No Waiver & Assignment
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a reorganisation or sale.
20. Survival, Entire Agreement & Interpretation
Sections relating to payments owed, warranties/disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, IP, and governing law survive termination. These Terms, together with your signed quote/invoice and our policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement and supersede prior understandings for the subject matter.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Your continued use of the website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
22. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Toronto, Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
23. Marketing Use of Project Photos
We may photograph installed products for portfolio or marketing purposes. We avoid identifying personal details. If you prefer to opt out, please inform us in writing before installation or email PRKdoorsales@gmail.com.
24. Showroom Visits
We invite you to visit our 25,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and showroom to see products firsthand.
